What affects the cost

Every property is different, so we do not publish a single headline price. The things that move the figure most are the size and complexity of the work, the condition of the existing structure, the specification you choose for fittings and finishes, access to the site, and whether planning permission or structural design is required. We will talk all of this through at the site visit and set it out clearly in your written estimate.

Can you work outside trading hours?

Yes. Where a unit needs to stay open we work evenings, overnight or weekends and phase the job so the disruption to trading is kept to a minimum.

How quickly can a shop refit be completed?

Most small retail units are turned around in three to six weeks depending on scope. We programme backwards from your opening date and hold to it.

Do you handle shopfront and signage consents?

Changing a shopfront or installing illuminated signage usually needs planning permission and sometimes advertisement consent, particularly in conservation areas. We will tell you what is needed and can coordinate the application.

Do you work with landlords' specifications?

Yes. We are used to working to landlord fit-out guides and dilapidation requirements, and to providing the documentation needed for licence to alter approvals.
