What's included

Strip-out, any structural openings, re-plumbing and rewiring, plastering, flooring, unit and worktop installation, splashbacks, appliance fitting, lighting and decoration.

We handle the trades in the right order so the units go in on a flat floor and square walls, which is what makes the difference to the finished look.

Strip-out through to decoration, including all the first fix work behind the units that determines whether the finish looks right.

Open-plan kitchen diner

Removing a wall and installing a steel to bring the kitchen and dining room together, then finishing as one space.

Kitchen extension fit-out

Where the kitchen forms part of a rear or side return extension, designed and serviced from the outset rather than retro-fitted.

Bespoke and in-frame kitchens

Hand-made and in-frame cabinetry, where the tolerances are tighter and the preparation of walls and floors matters more.

Worktops and splashbacks

Quartz, granite and solid surface worktops templated and installed, including island waterfall ends and upstands.

What affects the cost

Every property is different, so we do not publish a single headline price. The things that move the figure most are the size and complexity of the work, the condition of the existing structure, the specification you choose for fittings and finishes, access to the site, and whether planning permission or structural design is required. We will talk all of this through at the site visit and set it out clearly in your written estimate.

Questions

Kitchens: your questions answered

Can you supply the kitchen as well as fit it?

Yes. We can supply through our own suppliers, install a kitchen you have bought elsewhere, or work alongside a designer you have already appointed. All three are common.

How long will I be without a kitchen?

For a straightforward replacement, typically two to three weeks from strip-out to working kitchen, with the finishing trades following. We plan the order so the sink and an appliance come back as early as possible.

Do you do the electrics and plumbing?

Yes, all the first and second fix work is handled as part of the job, including moving services, adding sockets and lighting circuits, and connecting appliances.

Can you remove a wall to open up the kitchen?

Yes. Where the wall is load-bearing we have the opening designed by a structural engineer, install the steel and have it signed off by building control as part of the works.
